About

History

40 years of existence… the LCPPA is proud to voice out its achievements and triumphs for the past 4 decades.

As the Lung Center of the Philippines Celebrates its 40th anniversary so does the Lung Center of the Philippines Physicians Association which started in 1982.

The LCPPA was organized with the objective of just promoting interaction within its members who are plantilla consultant staff, current training fellows and non-salaried staff of LCP. Venues for interaction included Christmas Parties, post grad fellowship, summer outing and testimonial dinners for those who are retiring members. Christmas party celebration is the most awaited occasion ever in the entire year were LCP family get together for fun and games and where camaraderie is fostered. It is also a place where training fellows have to have an intermission number where a contest was held. But to now we have waiver the Christmas party and donated our fund to victims of the typhoon from Cagayan and Bicol region. Through the effort of Dr. Villaroman we also had built a donation drive for a cause to our misfortunate victims of this dreadful pandemic. We also had our strategic planning to build a strong foundation and to uplift our spirit in engaging in formulating the mission and vision of LCPPA.

These are the some of the accomplishment we have endure to make LCPPA at the grasp of building tomorrow.
